FAQs
Are you far from the city centre?
Not far at all! Sneinton Market Avenues is only a 10 minute walk from Old Market Square in the middle of the city. From there, walk up Pelham Street, then down the hill through Hockley. When you reach City Arts and The Carousel on your left, Sneinton Market Avenues is just ahead of you, on the other side of Lower Parliament Street. For more directions, visit our ‘How to Get Here’ page.
Do you have parking?
There’s no parking available directly on the Avenues site - vehicles are only allowed onto the Avenues for deliveries to the businesses based here. Pay and Display on-street parking is available close by on Gedling Street and Brook Street, and the Sneinton Market car park is only a short walk away, accessible via Aberdeen Street. The first hour here is free. For more info, visit our ‘How to Get Here’ page.
How do I rent a unit?
Nottingham City Council are responsible for the leases of the available units on Sneinton Market Avenues. You can register your interest by emailing catherine.fulton@nottinghamcity.gov.uk. What type of businesses can rent a unit here?
Sneinton Market Avenues was redeveloped thanks to funding from The European Regional Development Fund. As such, there are regulations around the kind of businesses that can be based on the Avenues. The site is primarily for start-up businesses in the creative and digital sector. This stipulates that units cannot be solely retail, but must be used primarily as offices and workshops for creative and digital businesses.
