Who Are We?
We are Nottingham’s home of some of the city’s best independents. We are a unique blend of artists, makers, designers, creatives, and hospitality. Just a short ten minutes from Nottingham City Centre, so take a walk down our colourful avenues and discover your new favourite hidden gem.
What’s On?
Throughout the year, many regular and one-off events take place on Sneinton Market Avenues. Our Beltane, Samhain and Yuletide Pagan Markets are now legendary with creative stalls, music and themed entertainments. Our participation in Nottingham Light Night and hosting of the Nottingham Craft Beer Festival and Nottinghamshire Pride are also firm favourites in the calendar, with an assortment of exciting events and markets taking place throughout the year.
Our History
Sneinton Market has a rich history of cultural significance to Nottingham, and to Sneinton in particular. The area has developed over the last 100 years from its original role as a fruit market which opened on the site in 1938, through to its current re-incarnation as a hub for independent businesses, which revitalised the derelict site and re-opened in 2015.
