Who Are We?
We are Nottingham’s home of some of the cities best independents. We are a unique blend of artists, makers, designers, creatives, and hospitality. Just a short ten minutes from Nottingham City Centre, so take a walk down our colourful avenues and discover your new favourite hidden gem.
What’s On?
Throughout the year, many regular and one-off events take place on Sneinton Market Avenues. There’s Pitch Presents Markets, a collection of the best independent local stalls selling everything from food to homewares to outdoor plants. We have events from Notts Street Food, Nottingham Craft Beer Festival, Green Hustle & look out for Can’t Stop Won’t Stop events throughout the year at Unit 37.
Our History
Sneinton Market has a rich history of cultural significance to Nottingham, and to Sneinton in particular. The area has developed over the last 100 years from its original role as a fruit market which opened on the site in 1938, through to its current re-incarnation as a hub for independent businesses, which revitalised the derelict site and re-opened in 2015.
